Mobile browsing now available for TM users

-

MANILA, Philippines - With the increasing growth of mobile data in the country, Touch Mobile (TM), Globe Telecom’s fast growing prepaid brand, has launched its very own mobile Internet service.

TM subscribers can now enjoy surfing the Internet using their mobile phones at an affordable rate.

For only P5 valid for 15 minutes of use, subscribers can now use their TM-powered phones to post status updates, send an e-mail, do research, upload photos, play online games, and download mobile applications.

This mobile browsing service is the lowest browsing denomination available for mobile Internet users today.

“With this new offer, TM subscribers can now stay connected to the World Wide Web whenever and wherever they are without having to spend so much,” said TM head Issa Cabreira.

“We understand that our subscribers value their hard-earned money. With this new mobile browsing offer, they can go online anytime and anywhere they want to keep their bonds intact with their friends and communities at a cost that’s definitely easy on their pockets,” Cabreira added.

Mobile browsing is available for subscribers with Internet-enabled handsets. To activate the Internet settings on your mobile phone, text GO<space>handset model>,,1234 to 2951 for free (example: GO<space>Nokia E51,,1234 and send to 2951). The user will receive a confirmation message via text with the Internet settings which should be saved and set as default.
