Create own themes in 'Ovi Theme-spirations 2'

MANILA, Philippines - Missed the first wave of Nokia’s Ovi Theme-spirations? Here’s another chance to show off your creative streak: Start designing your own themes for Nokia mobile phones and join “Ovi Theme-spirations 2: FUNtastic Summer Edition.”

The second offering of Nokia’s contest lets participants send their original photos or artwork that centers on a “summer” theme and be used for Nokia’s mobile phones.

Create themes with elements of sun, sand and fun, reveal beautiful paradise sceneries or play with the bright hues of summer.

To join, you should be at least 15 years old and a Filipino resident. Your entry should include background images and color schemes for menus and highlights.

Make sure that the background image file format is in jpeg, gif, or bmp file and has a maximum size of 500kb. For the color scheme, specify in the e-mail the specific colors for menu and text when they are in active and inactive mode.

Submit entries together with your full name, e-mail address, home address, mobile number and birth date via e-mail to [email protected].

A total of 10 finalists will be chosen. Five finalists will be picked every selection date. All participants whose entries are selected will automatically win P10,000 each.

Chosen theme entries will be converted to Nokia theme files and will be made available on Ovi Store for download using Nokia mobile phones with Symbian and S40 operating systems.

The top three themes with the most number of downloads from April 1 to May 15 will win P15,000 and a Nokia N8 each.
