MANILA, Philippines - Nokia has announced the availability of a new messaging solution - the Nokia E5 — which it said is perfect for managing one’s personal and professional life.
The Nokia E5 combines a full QWERTY keyboard with comprehensive push e-mail services for corporate (Microsoft Mail for Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes Traveller) and consumer (Ovi Mail, Yahoo! Mail, Gmail and Windows Live Hotmail) e-mail accounts.
It also supports consumer IM (Yahoo Messenger, GTalk and Nokia Ovi Chat) as well as corporate IM (Microsoft Office Communicator). Browse both the Internet and the intranet and read and edit Microsoft documents.
It even comes with Ovi Maps to help the user find his way in the world and Ovi Store so he can shop for the latest free apps to boost his productivity and games to pass the time.
“The Nokia E5 takes after its hugely successful predecessors in the capabilities that made them popular,” said Benoit Nalin, general manager of Nokia Philippines.
“With the Nokia E5, we wanted to extend the social networking capabilities and make feeling close to people and things, and sharing, easier than before. The Nokia E5 combines the best of personal and business messaging and social networking on a mobile device,” Benoit added.
The Nokia E5 also boasts of impressive features, including a five-megapixel camera and super fast Internet over WLAN and 3.5G.
The Nokia E5 has a suggested retail price of P14,950. It comes in carbon black and chalk white and is available at all Nokia Stores and authorized retailers nationwide.
