Channeling your inner Spielberg

MANILA, Philippines - Nokia recently invited award-winning director Brilliante Mendoza and scriptwriter Lilit Reyes to share tips on how to direct short films and short scriptwriting with the five finalists of the Nokia Cinemaiksi Mobile Filmmaking competition.

The Nokia Cinemaiksi Mobile Filmmaking Competition celebrates raw talent and passion for film presented in the most compelling medium, the mobile phone. With the theme “As It Happens,” young creatives and aspiring filmmakers from the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies (4As) were invited to show their talents through a one-minute short film using a Nokia mobile device. Up for grabs is a trip for two to Hong Kong to attend the Hong Kong Independent Short Film & Video Awards, P50,000, and two Nokia N97 devices.
