Verzio’s first 3.5G HSDPA PDA phone coming soon

Regional 3C (computing, communications, consumer electronics) brand Verzio announces a technological breakthrough with the launch of the Verzio Envii, the company’s first 3.5G High-Speed Packet Data Access (HSPDA) PDA phone.

This user-friendly PDA phone hits the stores this March in the Philippines, making the country the ideal launchpad before a global rollout that initially targets the Asia-Pacific.

The Verzio Envii boasts of the best-in-class Marvell PXA270 Processor at 624MHZ — a high-speed processor that performs faster than those used by other leading pocket PCs.

Running on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0 Platform, the Verzio Envii gives access to information and operations, including Microsoft Office applications, media player functions, Outlook Mobile with Direct Push, mobile Internet Explorer, Active Sync, and other basic functions that are usually accessible only from desktop computers.

It also has a large built-in 1GB Flash ROM that can be extended to 4GB with the use of Micro SD.

These fully integrated powerful functionalities make the Verzio Envii suitable for the user’s ever-changing business and personal requirements.

Access to the Verzio Envii’s complex features is simplified with Verzio’s Flick Dynamic Menu. This feature, paired with touch-screen technology, enables users to easily access various applications by simply flipping or scrolling through the screen with the tip of their fingers.

Needless to say, navigation through Verzio’s signature menu and themes is simply convenient. “This 3.5G HSDPA WM6 phone is specially designed for corporate users and individuals who need access to information on the go, without having to deal with complex layouts and numerous step-by-step navigations,” Uyco adds.

The Verzio Envii is also equipped with Bluetooth, infrared and Wireless LAN for enhanced connectivity. These enable seamless and synchronized file transfers between the Verzio Envii and other devices such as laptops, phones, or desktop PCs.

The Verzio Envii’s SRS WOW HD Surround Sound also provides users with personalized and optimized sound experience.

The Verzio Envii also comes with a VGA front camera for video calls and self-portrait, as well as a two-megapixel rear camera with macro-focus for still image and video capture. The model’s visual capacities are further enhanced by a 262k color 2.7“ VGA LCD touch screen.

Aside from these top-of-the-line features, the Verzio Envii is also armed with Verzio Unique Applications. Its SMS+ allows users to chat via SMS interface, while enabling scheduled SMS sending through the SMS scheduler.

Text messages can also be composed using the stylus or virtual keypad on the touch-screen display via the Verzio TextM8 feature. On top of that, users can secure data via Verzio Backup, which enables files to be backed up in the phone’s sizeable ROM.
