Why do I love cellphones? Let me count 21 reasons

21. The fancy design. Surely when it comes to the most important bling in my bag, looks matter.

20. The bright colors. Need we say more?

19. The many accessories: What’s a cellphone if it can’t be made to look even better?

18. It keeps me in with the gang. Anyone who owns a cellphone knows that if you want to know the gimmicks all the time, you need to be a text away.

17. It can play lots of music. Have you noticed how many cellphones have been touted as the replacement of the MP3, MP4 or any other digital player?

16. I can play games on it. Perfect pastime when killing time.

15. Everyone I know, and most people I see, have a unit or two or three. Now, what would I look like if I didn’t own one?

14. I can send lots of smileys. Don’t you just love the emoticons. There are several kinds of emoticons for the different brands of cellphones. One brand even has animated emoticons, which can be shared between same brand users.

13. I can be updated on the latest happenings and tsismis in the showbiz world.

12.  I can make textmates. Who needs friends if you have textmates?

11.  I can download lots of stuff. This, of course, is using the high-speed HSDPA-capable cellphones. Or I might opt for the 3G phones and surf the Web.

10. I can take photos of myself and make them my wallpaper.

9. I love to take photos. With cellphone cameras going the high megapixel way, I can take photos of my friends and my really cute canine companions. 

8.  I can spread news really fast. If we thought Superman was fast, he obviously didn’t have a cellphone with a send-to-all capability. That’s faster than a speeding bullet any time.

7.  I have been able to join rallies, important and earth-shaking events (like the birth of my first grandnephew) because of the text messages I got.

6. I can answer a text if I want to, and ignore it if I please.

5. There is a cellphone for every kind of user. Believe me, techie hunk or newbie, the cellphones out there have something for everyone.

4. I can join contests in newspapers, on the radio and on TV.

3. I would be an incomplete person without it.
