February 17, 2007 | 12:00am
Motorola Inc. recently announced the launch of MOTORIZR, a new handset that merges an innovative slider design with an impressive feature set encompassing sophisticated multimedia and imaging capabilities.
The MOTORIZR’s ultra smooth slider interface glides open with a subtle push. Once opened, the MOTORIZR unveils a brilliant look and feel with its large, easy-to-use keypad and unique abstract tattoo markings.
MOTORIZR offers intuitive functionality with optimized on-the-go imaging. It features an expansive landscape display, 2.0-megapixel camera, high-intensity camera light, and programmed point-and-shoot keys.
With the dedicated side camera key and landscape viewfinder, MOTORIZR can be held and used like a regular digital camera. Its impressive video capabilities complete its dynamic imaging package.
MOTORIZR also provides the ultimate in music portability with a built-in music player that supports a variety of music formats, including MP3, AAC, AAC+ and AAC+ enhanced. Users can transfer their digital music collections via USB connection.
To further enhance the experience, an optional Bluetooth stereo headset accessory is available for wire-free listening.
Not hindered by international borders, the MOTORIZR’s quad-band technology allows users to roam seamlessly across nearly all countries and continents.
With multiple messaging capabilities, including MMS and instant messaging, users can easily share their experiences with friends and family.
"The MOTORIZR is yet another example of Motorola reshaping the mobile landscape through constant reinvention. Its slider format means significant changes in both the way the phone is designed and used, while retaining Motorola’s ‘no compromise’ approach to design," says Patrick Aronson, Motorola Phils. country manager.
