Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications International AB recently moved to a new address in anticipation of expanded operations nationwide.
The mobile phone company, recognized in a recent Gartner Group report as the Philippines second top mobile phone brand, has relocated to the 22nd floor of Net Square building at Third Avenue corner 28th st., Crescent Park West, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila.
The new address provides added space for more staffers and business development operations as more mobile phone models and accessories are set to be launched this year.
The highly successful Japanese-Swedish joint venture has grown from introducing the industrys first color screen mobile phone to diversifying into a wide range of best-selling phone models for specific target markets.
Sony Ericsson created a new mobile phone category with the release of the P800 smartphone.
The revolution continued with launch of the Sony Ericsson P990i, which supports push e-mail, full HTML page browsing, high-speed multimedia downloads, video calling and features a music player, business card scanner and two-megapixel camera with autofocus, among other features.
Sony Ericsson is also responsible for bringing Walkman music quality to a whole new range of mobile phones.
Since the launch of this line, over 10 million Sony Ericsson Walkman phones have been sold. Three more Walkman phones are set to be launched in the Philippines before the year ends.
The new Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot phones are already runaway hits in the imaging category with their 3.2-megapixel autofocus cameras with Xenon flash and BestPic technology.
The K790i and K800i Cyber-shot phones also feature an image stabilizer, Picture Blogging, image file editing with Adobe software, and integrated Blogger and Google Web search.
The latest phone models and accessories can now be purchased with full warranties in six Sony Ericsson Concept Shops nationwide.
Aside from sales, the shops offer servicing by certified technicians, free downloads and other promos.
Sony Ericsson was also the first mobile phone manufacturer to launch an SMS customer service through SE HELP (2960 for Globe, Smart or Sun subscribers).
Users can find options on where to buy a Sony Ericsson handset (SE SALES), know more about different models (SE FEATURES), get information on service centers (SE SERVICE), gain contact information (SE CONTACT), or know more about the latest Sony Ericsson promotions (SE PROMO).
