Smart launches ‘SagotAgad’ service

Subscribers of Smart Com-munications Inc. may now make inquiries anytime, anywhere and get immediate feedback through Smart SagotAgad Text Service.

"This is part of Smart’s thrust to continuously enhance customer service. With the next text-based service, our subscribers can now course inquiries through SagotAgad, and get quicker response. It’s also more convenient. They no longer have to go to our Wireless Centers for simple concerns. This way, our customers save time and money," said Joy Sanchez, Smart head for customer care.

From their mobile phones, subscribers may download the SagotAgad main menu by simply keying in SagotAgad and sending it to 888.

The main menu consists of seven categories, A up to G, which include Troubleshooting, Promos, International Roaming, PasaLoad/SMARTLoad, Downloads, Phonebook/Inbox, Inquiries, and What’s New.

Upon downloading the main menu, user should type the letter (A up to G) that corresponds to the type of inquiry, and choose from the sub-menus available.

Only P2.50 will be charged for every complete transaction, equivalent to a maximum of three text messages sent to 888.

Categories include Basic Troubleshooting, which addresses common subscriber concerns regarding their cellphones or SIM cards (battery not charging, insert SIM card); Promos, or details concerning Smart’s latest promos; International Roaming, which has sub-menus on how to make international calls or texts, and standard roaming rates and charges.

The PasaLoad/SMARTLoad category may answer queries on PasaLoad, AllText and SMART-Load menus and procedures, while Smart’s various value-added services (VAS) such as caller ringback tunes, logos, MMS wallpapers, may be accessed at the Downloads category.

Users may also inquire about how to cancel their subscription to a specific download/service under the Downloads category. Concerns that can be addressed under the Phonebook/Inbox Inquiry category include pass-word activation and deacti-vation, and how to open an extra inbox or phonebook, among others.

SagotAgad
also includes a What’s New category, which will feature Smart’s latest service offerings such as Smart 3G and Smart BRO.
