Globe Telecom brings Wi-Fi to the SMEs

-
Globe Telecom brings wireless broadband Internet access to the country’s small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with Globe Broadband Wi-Fi.

With this service being offered by Globe Bizworks, Globe enables small businesses to turn their offices into Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity) zones.

"We want to help businesses optimize their operations and enhance their productivity by equipping them with the latest connectivity service. Now entrepreneurs and their employees can access the Internet from anywhere in the office via Wi-Fi," Globe Bizworks marketing head Ailene Averion said.

She added: "Whatever the size of your business, we have the wireless Internet connection suited to your needs. Globe Broadband Wi-Fi allows SMEs to go wireless and enjoy a cable-free office set-up. Also, we can easily add new users as your business grows."

Globe Broadband Wi-Fi is offered in three packages: Trader, Tycoon, and Taipan.

Trader is for businesses with one to three laptops or devices. Get download speed of up to 1.5 MB and upload speed of up to 512 kbps for P2,950 per month.

For those with four to 10 laptops or personal digital assistants (PDAs) that need wireless broadband Internet access, the Tycoon package gives faster speeds for a monthly service fee of P4,950.

The Taipan package is for businesses with more than 10 devices. This gives download speed of up to 2 MB and upload speed of up to 1 MB for P7,850 per month.
