Versatile Telecoms International Inc. announced the release of the new Alcatel OT-S853.
This latest Alcatel phone, distributed in the Philippines by Versatile Telecoms, is expected to capture the eyes and ears of practical, music-loving Filipinos.
The OT-S853 is not called the "sound machine" for nothing. First off, it has not one, not two, but three speakers.
The sound is emitted from a bass loudspeaker and two tweeters, the latter mounted on the top and bottom panels of the phone. The effect is a superb 3D surround sound with enough basses, medium and high tones.
To enjoy this excellent display of sound, the phone is equipped with an MP3 player, which can be easily accessed through the dedicated buttons on the left side panel of the phone, making track selection a breeze.
And when the user wants to know what new songs are hitting the airwaves, he can simply tune in to his favorite station with the phones programmable FM radio.
Also appreciate the crystal-clear sound via the remote control with headphones that come with package.
For hands-free enthusiasts, Bluetooth headsets are also compatible to allow users to dance to the crisp beats.
Of course, no music star is camera-shy. The OT-S853 has an integrated 1.3-megapixel camera and self-portrait mirror.
The camera, which also has a dedicated button at the side panel, is capable of taking photos and video in landscape mode, as in a digicam.
And with the phones 262k-color screen, the user can be sure that each photo and video clip is rendered in sharp colors.
The OT-S53 exudes a classy and hip vibe with its all-black exterior with semi-rubber pads. But color comes into play through the various graphic themes or atmospheres to suit the users mood basswood, cartoon, frog, icon, music, and one touch.
The fun continues when you play its built-in Java games or download your own using GPRS and EDGE.
The Alcatel OT-S853 costs P14,200. Check out The Sound Machine at major cellphone dealers nationwide or call Versatile Telecoms at (02) 400-0341 to 43.
