Sony Ericsson offers a better take with T630

Sony Ericsson hopes to take the lead in the camera phone market with soaring advances in design and performance in the new T630.

The Sony Ericsson T630 provides a memorable imaging experience through a revolutionary 65K full-color TFT (thin film transistor) screen, considered the cutting edge in flat panel display technology.

With the bright TFT screen, the T630 provides sharper images and better color contrasts, enhancing picture-taking, image-viewing and the gaming experience. The display can be clearly seen even in bright light.

With the T630’s "shutter button" located on the side, taking pictures is simple and easy. One can also add effects to a shot by taking them in various modes like night mode, black and white, sepia or negative, or drawing pictures or editing images with the Picture Editor application.

The T630 is another QuickShare product, offering the unique Sony Ericsson feature that allows users to take pictures and send them via MMS, e-mail, IF or Bluetooth in just a few clicks.

A new Sony Ericsson application called "My Friends" premieres in the T630. This enhanced messaging facility lets consumers quickly access a list of contacts and easily choose the mode of communication such as SMS, MMS, e-mail or chat.

A friend, for example, may want to be reached only via SMS when in a lunch meeting. This application will help users determine this.

My Friends is based on the Wireless Village instant messaging application, the industry standard for mobile Instant Messaging.

The Sony Ericsson T630 comes in frosty silver color. The translucent, backlit keypad completes the cool, retro look of this innovative camera phone.

It comes preloaded with V-Rally 2 and supports both Java and Mophun platforms, allowing users to access over 100 games from the Sony Ericsson website and other Internet sources.

With force feedback, 32-tone polyphonic sound system and joystick control, this is one camera phone high on entertainment.

Budding record producers may check out the Music DJ function where they can express their originality by recording and mixing sounds with a four-track sequencer. Bass lines, drumbeats and chords can be mixed in just a few seconds into all original ring signals.

The triple-band Sony Ericsson T630 also features a calculator, calendar, alarm clock, stopwatch, sound recorder and stopwatch, WAP and GPRS, to name a few.
