WarCraft III on your mobile phones

-
Wireless Services Asia (WSA), a provider of mobile applications such as ringing tones, icons and picture messages, will be launching a new line of mobile services based on the popular network game WarCraft III.

In partnership with Asian Media Development Group (AMDG), the exclusive licensor for WarCraft III in the Philippines, WSA will initially provide WarCraft III logos, picture messages and ringing tones over the Globe Telecom network.

The partnership will also allow WSA to develop other wireless applications such as games and multimedia messaging services (MMS) like colored wallpapers and animated screensavers.

"We are very pleased that AMDG has entrusted to us the WarCraft III brand. This partnership affirms WSA’s position as the preferred mobile content developer by major brands. It speaks of the expertise we have in our trade, and the quality of our work," says Rainer Leinonen, WSA chief operating officer.

Gerry Castro, VP for marketing and operations of AMDG, raves: "It is, indeed, a very exciting time for WarCraft III to be realized in mobile. We are looking forward to seeing WarCraft III characters on the mobile handset."

WSA is a dynamic company whose mission is to empower a society that utilizes the full potential of mobile communications combined with innovative mobile value-added services. The company possesses a strong and diverse GSM knowledge complemented with an understanding and appreciation of IT technologies and content creation.

WSA acts as an application and content developer for GSM operators in the Philippines and other parts of the world.
