Motorola recently introduced in the Philippines the GP2000 Alpha Series Radio a modern and efficient two-way radio that is ideal for users who require a highly cost-effective communication tool for their operations.
Targeted for users in the hospitality/service, manufacturing and construction markets, Motorolas GP2000 two-way radio is compact and designed with a modern, ergonomic style that facilitates better handling.
"Motorolas GP2000 two-way radio is specially developed with the Asian users in mind. Designed and manufactured in Asia, it is ergonomically styled and compact to fit Asian hands. Its easy-to-use features also make it a viable choice for many two-way radio users in the Philippines," said Jack Yap, director for distribution for South Asia of Motorolas Commercial, Government and Industrial Solutions Sector (CGISS)-Indirect.
"The Philippines is witnessing a continued growth in the two-way radio market. With the launch of the GP2000 two-way radio, we are confident that it will be well-received by businesses looking for a cost-effective and reliable communication tool for their operations," added Yap.
Harnessing the benefits of the two-way radio technology, Motorolas GP2000 provides instant one-to-many communication at a push of a button eliminating the need for users to repeat instructions and messages.
Its key features:
Clear audio. An audio-enhancement feature allows users to manually adjust the desired squelch levels for optimum clarity.
99 channels. Ideal for operations with a wide group of users, the GP2000 enables a user to assign his work teams into 99 talk groups. The channel button, located on the front of the radio, provides easy and quick access to the different talk groups.
Front panel programming. Enables the flexibility of customizing and resetting the radio profile while in the field without relying on programming equipment such as computers.
Average eight-hour battery life. Provides up to eight hours of talk time without the need to charge or carry additional batteries during a typical eight-hour work shift.
Private lines. Private lines and digital private lines prevent unwanted conversations on the same frequency. The GP2000 has three private lines more than the industry standard, enabling further customization of the users communication.
Battery saver. The GP2000 offers three power levels: Economy Low, Low and High. The Economy Low option allows users to save on battery use when communicating in close proximity, extending talk time by up to six hours. The High power level allows users to enjoy wider communication coverage. The GP2000 also offers normal and enhanced battery saver modes, conserving vital battery power when idle for a specific period of time.
User-friendly navigation. With two navigation buttons, users can easily scroll up and down the radios menu. The four programmable buttons provide users with the convenience of assigning up to eight commonly used features. The GP2000s easy-to-use cellular-like navigation button replaces the traditional channel knob, enabling quick scrolling for the users.
Eight-digit alphanumeric display. Iconic battery and signal strength indicators enable users to determine the radios operating performance at a glance. Text and number displays such as channel alias and frequency number provide critical information for operations.
Cost-effective accessories. Motorolas GP2000 two-way radio is compatible with the companys new ergonomically designed and cost-effective Mag One accessories series as well as existing GP68 accessories, providing users with greater flexibility and customization.
