Motorola unveils 3 new phone models

-
Motorola’s Personal Communications Sector (PCS) is revolutionizing the way Filipinos use mobile phones by launching three innovative models recently.

William Tan, PCS country manager of Motorola for Singapore and the Philippines, personally graced the launch dubbed "MOTOREVOLUTION" at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.

Motorola unveiled its newest and hottest product, the V70, the mobile phone that will rewrite the rules in style and technology. Also known as the "swinging blade," the V70 has an incredible swivel motion of the flip that can turn 360 degrees.

The V70 captures the "power-look" with its sleek design, jewel-like case and dimension of 94mm x 38mm x 18.3mm and weight of 83 grams.

Viewing the display in the dark is no hassle with the "swinging blade." The black, round and easy-to-read display with white letters on a dark background, provides easy viewing of text messages and quick caller ID screening. The translucent MotoGlo keypad with soft blue radiance provides trouble-free dialing and texting even in the dark.

The V70 is a feature-packed mobile phone with advance GPRS capability that allows users to surf the Internet, manage social life and keep in touch with business partners and loved ones.

Users can also check the latest on news, sports, movies and just about anything on the Internet through its advance WAP 1.1 Micro browser. Other features are real-time chat, SMS, voice-activated call, vibra alert, games and built-in calendar and phonebook that can be synchronized to a computer or a personal digital assistant (with optional data connection kits).

To match Filipinos’ versatile lifestyle, the V70 has 32 built-in standard tones and 32 user-composable alerts. It can accommodate conference calls, call transfer and mute calls.

Interchangeable bezels in satin, brushed and chrome let users customize the look of the V70. Keypads are also replaceable to fit the user’s mood, in either midnight or ceramica color. Accessories include hands-free, one-touch headset, FM radio, charger with lock and sync kits.

Joining the heat of the "MOTOREVOLUTION" were two other models: the Motorola T190 and V66. The T190 boasts of a distinctive and stylish design, and addresses users’ demand for longer text messaging capability by being able to accommodate 765 characters in a single SMS message, the longest in the market today.

The T190 can also spice up SMS messages with its interactive animated icons. Send any of the 25 pre-set animated icons like flowers or smiley faces, together with a personalized note to cheer up a loved one. With its group messaging feature, one can send an SMS message up to 10 recipients in just one transmission.

The V66, meanwhile, is Motorola’s sleek and smallest tri-band phone for busy people. It is the ultimate mobile solution for demanding trendsetters.

It is also the world’s first GPRS mobile phone with 1Up/4Down links or Class 8 GPRS, providing users "always-on" high-speed Internet access of up to 53.6 kbps.

The V66’s tri-band capability allows it to operate across GSM1800 and GSM 1900, virtually connecting users anywhere in the world.

It also has a currency converter, a message center and a phonebook that stores up to 500 entries. Main menu sequence can also be customized to meet users’ requirements.

Tan says these new Motorola models are the results of continuous technological research and innovation to satisfy and meet clients’ diverse needs.
