Acterna joining Telecomex Asia

Acterna Asia Pacific Pty Ltd., the world’s largest company in communications and test management solutions, is joining the only converged industry event in the Philippines under the umbrella show Telecomex Asia 2002, the 7th Philippine international exhibition on telecommunications, to be held on May 15-18, 2002 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila.

Formed out of the merger of communications firms Wavetek Wandel Goltermann (WWG) and Telecommunications Technic Corp. (TTC) in May 2000, Acterna expects to rake in $3-million sales revenues in the Philippines during its current fiscal year ending in April 2002.

Roberto Carandang, country manager of Acterna Phils., said the company remains optimistic about the Philippine market, adding that the company has long been a partner of local telecoms and cable firms.
