Globe utilizes Lucent software

Lucent Technologies announced that Globe Telecom signed a contract to deploy the Lucent NetMinder System Network Trouble Patterning (NTP) software as part of its continuing program to improve customer service and upgrade network performance. Deployment was completed end-April.
"With our rapid growth, we have been using a tremendous amount of internal resources to manage our networks," said John Young, Globe Telecom vice president for carrier networks.
"In addition to vastly improving our customer service and network performance, the selection of NetMinder System NTP can bring potentially significant ROI and direct bottom-line impact, because employees are freed up to work on other things. And, there can be a higher rate of international call completion and network efficiency," he added.
