Unify enhances SME offerings

MANILA, Philippines - Unify GmbH & Co. KG, formerly known as Siemens Enterprise Communications, is a leading German communications solutions provider and is a joint venture of the Gores Group and Siemens AG.

Following the rebranding last October, this year Unify in the Philippines is continuously intensifying its focus toward small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by releasing the Openscape Business UC Solution.

The Openscape Business is the new solution offered with IP telephony, unified communication and collaboration (UCC) and contact center, all three in one, and is now available in the Philippine market.

The main development with Openscape Business is a new, powerful hardware architecture on top of its latest UCC and Contact Center Software.

Unify conducted a go-to-market workshop last December that was attended by local business partners from Manila, Cebu and Davao. 

Rex Charl de Vera, Unify country manager in the Philippines, aid, “The partners here, who gained already a wide expertise with the well-known HiPath telephony platform, can easily deploy due to the similar system architecture, plus the fact that these partners have attended the specialist training program here and abroad in the past months to ensure quality service delivery of this new Openscape Business Solution, which is very important especially now that we received our first batch of orders from both local and foreign companies.”

De Vera said small and medium businesses and as well as enterprises with multiple locations who want to amplify team productivity and reduce costs related to IT and telephony must have Openscape Business to do so. 

“Customers using our HiPath system can easily migrate by upgrading their software and changing the processor board. This results in a significant investment protection since a large portion of the existing hardware, devices and software applications can be migrated to the new Openscape Business,” he added.
