2014 Autodesk AutoCAD Design Suite launched

MANILA, Philippines - Exciting new features and innovative technologies were unveiled during the recent launch of the 2014 Autodesk AutoCAD Design Suite held at the SM Mall of Asia.

Kelly Chong, regional sales manager of platform solutions and emerging business based in Singapore, said the latest AutoCAD version has exciting features like enhancements in making designs.

It has the latest trademark AutoCAD feature enabling the user to have an edge over other design software. It took the company at least one year to develop the latest version of the software, thus it has the latest advancements and innovations, in the design/engineering world.

“The software itself makes the work more creative and embraces new ideas in design and dealt design challenges with competitive results,” Chong said.

Alex Ulanday, business development manager of Wordtext System Inc., Philippine distributor of the product, said the software would help the user create stunning designs, connect easily with stakeholders, and streamline entire workflows.

The software has features such as geolocation tools that bring the world into one’s design and enhance reality capture tools that import existing 3D structures.

The Autodesk Raster Design 2014 captures design information from scanned drawings and raster images and converts them into AutoCAD DWG files. It interactively converts raster images to AutoCAD vector objects and even converts letters to AutoCAD text.

The Autodesk SketchBook Designer 2014 creates a breakthrough in conceptualization of designs and turns AutoCAD drawings into beautiful illustrations. It is accessed directly from within AutoCAD and is a natural extension to the AutoCAD DWG design workflow.

The Autodesk Showcase 2014 turns AutoCAD models into amazing 3D-rendered presentations to share live with an audience or publish for mobile access. 

The Autodesk Mudbox 2014, on the other hand, sculpts and prepares detailed 3D design concepts more easily with the Mudbox 2014 software. Getting started with 3D is not easy yet Mudbox software’s intuitive modeling techniques make it possible and easy to do so.

The Autodesk 3D Max Design 2014 (part of the Premium and Ultimate editions) will enable the user to create Hollywood blockbuster movies and award-winning video games. Cinematic-quality rendered animation is possible and it simulates lighting analysis directly from within AutoCAD.

The AutoCAD Alias Design 2014, also part of Ultimate edition, brings widely used surfacing capabilities and best-in-class modeling to your toolsets in shorter time possible.
