A new eye candy smartphone: Nokia Asha 501 Dual SIM

MANILA, Philippines - Nokia has launched the newest addition to the Asha family, the Nokia Asha 501 Dual SIM, the first smartphone built on the new Asha platform, which will give users a cool, fast and fun mobile experience.

The Nokia Asha 501 Dual SIM features high-end design that comes in different colors — initially in bright red, yellow and classic black, and later, in white, bright green and cyan — at a recommended retail price of P4,490 (including VAT).

This smartphone features the durable and removable Nokia shell and a Gorilla Glass scratch-resistant, three-inch capacitive touch screen. Its battery life keeps users connected with up to 26 days of standby time and up to 17 hours of talk time. These highlights make the Nokia Asha 501 Dual SIM a great option for young people who really need to be connected on the go.

Also there are many entertaining games like World Zoo, Fashion Icon, Little Big City, Real Football, and Bubble Bash preinstalled. And there are 40 free EA games available through the Nokia Gift app like Bejeweled, Tetris, Revolution FiFA, Sims 3, Need for Speed: Undercover, and Plants vs Zombies, among others.

The Nokia Asha 501 also comes with the latest version of Nokia Xpress Browser, which enables faster and more affordable browsing by compressing webpages by up to 90 percent, even when multiple pages are open. The Nokia Xpress lets you surf further than other standard smartphone browsers.
