MANILA, Philippines - To promote environmental awareness among its customers, Power Mac Center, a chain of retail shops and service provider of Apple products and premium accessories in the country, joined this year’s Earth Day celebration with the launch of its digital artwork contest entitled “Green Canvas,” espousing the message “Paint a picture. Help the planet. Spread the word.”

All Philippine-based graphic designers are invited to participate by submitting environment-themed artworks in digital format until May 22.

The best entry wins a 16GB iPad 2, Targus stylus pen, and 5,000 Power Mac Center Gift Card.

Entries must be sent via e-mail at [email protected].

Joey Alvarez, marketing manager of the Power Mac Center, said, “In the same way that we love fostering creativity through our products and services, we invite our customers to join us in coming up with artistic ways to spread awareness on environmental concerns.”

“This Earth Day initiative also reaffirms our solidarity with over 175 countries that celebrate Earth Day each year,” Alvarez added.
