MANILA, Philippines - After Samsung, one of the country’s leading pioneers in technology, launched the Samsung Galaxy Note — the first tablet and smartphone hybrid in the market — fans and converts alike just could not get enough of this new revolutionary super-device.

As the Galaxy Note combines the luxuries of a tablet to the sensibilities of a smartphone, it has changed the face of mobile communication by giving a whole new handle to capturing those “big ideas” through a modern take on the pen and paper. Aimed to showcase the tablet-smartphone fusion at its best, this experience gives guests a chance to closely examine the Samsung Galaxy Note where experts will be on-site to demonstrate its features.

To showcase this gadget’s capacity, beats will be served up by a live DJ while artists will draw free caricatures with the Samsung Galaxy Note.

Buyers will also be offered an extra discount if they decide to buy their own Galaxy Note at the event. Special prizes will be up for grabs, too.

James Ong, a Surigao-based bank owner, bought an iPhone a few days before discovering the Samsung Galaxy Note yet he did not hesitate to make the switch.

The bigger, better, and faster smartphone won him over completely. “Plus, the camera is much nicer,” he said. “I had fun getting my caricature made at the Galaxy Note Studio as well.”

Ivan Ogrizer, on the other hand, has only been in the Philippines for one month because of his work. As he discovered the Galaxy Note, he could not help but enjoy the beauty of a tablet with a mobile smartphone. “It marries the best of both worlds,” he said. “I think the S Pen is amazing.”

The Samsung Galaxy Note Studio will be at the following venues on these dates: March 16-18 at SM Mall of Asia, and March 19-24 at SM Megamall.
