Avida launches Facebook app to create 'thank you' notes

-

MANILA, Philippines - Avida Land Corp. has launched the Red Letter Day application on social networking giant Facebook in an effort to help build a community of thankful Filipinos.

It officially went online during the campaign’s kickoff at Greenbelt 3 Garden recently. The Red Letter Day application on Facebook allows users to create personalized message of thanks to their loved ones.

“We want to inspire people to be grateful for their family, friends, and everyday blessings through our ‘Red Letter Day’ campaign. The application we put up on our Facebook page is a great tool to bridge people and encourage them to be expressive and appreciative of those people who truly work hard to give them a better future,” says Tess Tatco, Avida Land Corp. marketing manager.

Personalized ‘thank you’ notes

The Red Letter Day application lets users create personalized “thank you” messages in 140 characters or less.

It’s so easy to use: 1) Go to https://apps.facebook.com/redletterday/ and click “Like”; 2) register by typing your name, city, birth date, mobile number, email address, and occupation; and 3) check the tick boxes and click “Submit.”

Once you have completed the registration process, you can start making your message to the person you want to say “thank you” to.

Tatco says, “The Red Letter Day app is so fun and easy to use. Users can be creative in composing their messages. We want them to express what’s inside their hearts and how thankful they are to the people who matter to them.”

Those who will register for the Red Latter Day application on Facebook will also receive an auto reply to their e-mail to confirm their registration. The e-mail contains a special unique promo code that can be used for claiming special prizes in event sites.

Thanksgiving campaign

The “Red Letter Day” campaign aims to establish Avida as a brand that acknowledges the hardworking Filipinos and rewards them with their own special day.

“A simple ‘thank you’ evokes positive feelings. And with Red Letter Day, we want to inspire people to be grateful for their family, friends, and everyday blessings. There’s so much to be thankful for so we are giving everyone a chance to say their thank you’s in special ways through our new campaign for 2012,” Tatco says.

Successful events were recently held at Greenbelt 3 Garden, Trinoma Activity Center, Trinoma Cinema, Bonifacio High Street, Alabang Town Center, and Solenad.
