Globe, ACE Insurance provide mobile device insurance benefit to Globe Business subscribers

MANILA, Philippines - Globe Telecom and Ace Insurance, two respected and trusted brands in the Philippines, have sealed a deal that will greatly benefit selected Globe Business Plan subscribers.

Globe Telecom and ACE Insurance are now partners in providing insurance for handsets, PC tablets and other mobile devices received under a Globe Business Plan subscription.

Starting this fourth quarter, the Mobile Device Insurance will be an embedded, value-added benefit included in selected Globe Business Plan packages.

This Mobile Device Insurance benefit entitles qualified subscribers to receive replacement units of their Globe mobile device in case of theft.

The insurance benefit is included in selected Globe Business Plan packages for free during a 24-month period beginning on the day the Globe mobile device is issued.

“Both SMEs and larger corporate accounts may now avail themselves of this insurance benefit. This insurance benefit is being offered to a wider market, starting at Globe Business Plans subscriptions valued at P1,499 per month,” said Manny Aligada, Globe Business corporate and SME segments head.
