Whirlpool marks global centennial year with innovative features, exciting promo

MANILA, Philippines - Whirlpool Philippines kicks off the global company’s 100th anniversary with the unveiling of cutting-edge features on its world-class appliances as well as an exciting promotion to its loyal customers in the Philippines.

“In celebration of Whirlpool Corp.’s 100 years of world-renowned legacy and excellence in home appliances, we are excited to present the innovative features that are available in our products that promise to cater to the needs and lifestyles of Filipino families all over the country,” said Joy Catiis-Cruz, marketing manager of Whirlpool Philippines.

“These features were designed with the modern family in mind, while keeping with strict quality and environmental requirements in line with our commitment to safety and protecting the environment,” Cruz said.

“In line with these new product features, we are likewise launching a new promotion that indeed reflects our gratitude for the Filipinos’ support for Whirlpool through the years,” Cruz added.

In line with Whirlpool’s 100th anniversary, the company is launching a nationwide promotion for its loyal customers. 

Cruz said, “This is a chance for customers to furnish their homes with world-class and brand-new appliances from Whirlpool through the ‘Search for the Oldest Whirlpool Appliance Contest.’ This promo is a token of our appreciation for their years of support and trust in our products and reaffirms our longstanding commitment to customer satisfaction.”

To join, just send a picture of your oldest working Whirlpool refrigerator, washer or microwave oven. Don’t forget to include along with your photo the appliance’s serial number and model.

If your entry is chosen, a Whirlpool team will contact you to make a visit to your home to check on the appliance. Three contestants will be chosen — one winner in each appliance category: Refrigerator, Washer, and Microwave Oven.

Winners per category get to go home with a brand-new Whirlpool appliance of the same product type.

Whirlpool’s Search for the Oldest Whirlpool Appliance Contest runs until May 15.
