Large steel maker taps BayanTrade's BT Jumpstart solution

MANILA, Philippines - BayanTrade, the leading SAP channel partner in the Philippines, has announced that Philippine Sinter Corp. (PSC), one of the world’s largest steel makers in the country, has implemented the BT Jumpstart solution based on the SAP ERP application to streamline operations and improve productivity.

With this implementation, PSC has integrated all business processes under a single platform, enabling immediate access to accurate business and operational data for critical decision-making.

Faced with growing business complexity and increasing competitive pressures amid challenging times, Edison Sasoy, PSC’s IT head, saw that their legacy system, which handled basic tasks such as cost monitoring and inventory, would not suffice since it had no operational integration so he roped in SAP and partner BayanTrade.

Although the solution only went live recently, PSC is already seeing the implementation bear fruit, with its hectic month-end financial closing activities shortened from three weeks to less than one week.

The business process integration also allowed the company to proactively analyze relevant information and make timely, well-informed decisions based on that data.
