Graphic, photo-video expos feature seminar series for creative industry
MANILA, Philippines - The organizers of Graphic Expo and Photo Video Expo (PVX) 2010 will stage a seminar series for creative industry professionals to upgrade their skills, learn new software applications and use new tools to substantially improve their work, achieve cost efficiency and attain professional excellence.
Slated at the SMX Convention Center on June 17-19, the seminar series will coincide with the staging of Graphic Expo and PVX 2010, making these events a complete one-stop shop for creative and digital products, services and technologies.
The seminars on June 17 cover such topics as Advanced Photoshop: Essential Color and Tonal Correction; Explore Your Creativity: Adobe Photoshop’s Fine Art Techniques; Planning and Designing Web 2.0 Corporate Websites; Effective Publications Design; Creating Eye-Popping Graphics; Illustrator Animation; Migrating to InDesign CS4; Getting More Media Mileage Out of Your InDesign Documents; The Secrets to Portrait Retouching; Killer Photoshop Tips and Techniques for Photographers; and Photography Seminar workshops.
On June 18, the seminar topics are Color Management Made Simple; Mastering Color in Adobe Photoshop CS4; The Adobe Power Cube of Graphic Design; Guerrilla Graphic Design; After Effects CS4 Unleashed; The Business Side of Creativity; InDesign Style Workflow and Creation Process for Printers, Publishers, and Creative Professionals; Photography Seminar workshop; Wedding and Portrait Photography; What’s New with Final Cut Pro?; and Video Effects with Final Cut Pro, Motion and Live Type.
And on June 19, the topics are Advanced Photoshop CS4 for Graphic Designers; Mastering Channels and Masking in Adobe Photoshop CS4; Integrating 3D Graphics in Live Action Shots; CorelDraw Cheat Codes: Tips and Tricks; Premiere Pro CS4 and More Real World Applications; Energizing Projects with ActionScript; Mesh It Up: Using Gradients and Blends to Your Advantage; Adobe Translations: How to Transfer Files from Illustrator to Other Adobe Programs; The Big Scheme of Things: Adobe After Effects CS4 and the Adobe Workflow; Producing Short and Simple Video Clips and Animation for Online Marketing; and Photography Seminar workshops.
Seminar participants can learn a lot from Adobe certified experts and leading industry gurus as they coach and share various tips and tricks in the creative workflow process.
The participants will also enjoy cool photography workshops and photo walks with ace Philippine photographers Raymund Isaac, Mark Floro, Tilak Hettige, Andre Hoffman, John Mateos Ong, Jo Avila, Jay Alonzo, Ibarra Deri, and Jun Miranda during the photo-video seminars.
The seminar participants are expected to further increase the volume of visitors to Graphic Expo and PVX 2010, which have been attracting exhibitors involved in desktop publishing/pre-press, digital photography and imaging, large format advertising and sign making, graphic design, Web publishing, Internet, multimedia and animation, and allied services, among many others.
