SAS in Leaders quadrant for ORM

MANILA, Philippines - SAS, a leader in business analytics software and services, recently placed in the Leaders quadrant of the “Magic Quadrant for Operational Risk Management (ORM) Software for Financial Services” by US-based Gartner Inc.

The Magic Quadrant is a research tool, updated annually or biennially, that provides qualitative analysis into a market and its direction.

In the study, Gartner evaluated SAS on its “ability to execute” and its “completeness of vision.” As a Leader, the company scored high in both criteria. 

According to the report, the Leaders quadrant tends to be occupied by vendors with software applications that address qualitative as well as quantitative aspects of ORM.

These vendors have achieved high levels of market acceptance and have consistent views of operational risk across the organization as compared to separately designed and implemented risk calculation engines or audit, control and compliance reporting tools.
