Asus unveils new UL Series notebooks

MANILA, Philippines - Asus unveiled at the New World Hotel recently its new UL (short for UnLimited) Series of notebooks designed to provide high-speed, high-performance computing for application-intensive PC users.

The new UL Series feature the latest Intel Core2 Duo SU7300 processor for true high-speed multitasking power that makes short work of process-intensive applications.

They also use the exclusive Asus Turbo33 Technology for enhanced computing performance. A dedicated NVIDIA GeForce G 210M graphics card provides users with true-to-life images for games, videos and movies.

The Asus UL Series is capable of delivering these benefits with up to 12 hours of battery life, thanks to the exclusive ASUS GraphiX Boost, which allows users to conserve their battery power by switching between dedicated and integrated graphics.

These innovations adorn a stunningly slim chassis, measuring less than one inch in profile and tastefully decked in brushed aluminum finishing.

It provides a contemporary exterior with incredible resilience against the bumps and knocks of day-to-day use—perfect for work and play.

A flush, multi-touch touchpad delivers ease of use by allowing users to intuitively zoom in or out of pictures via pinching, or to navigate up and down pages by sliding their finger.

The ASUS UL Series is also equipped with an ergonomic “chiclet” keyboard and full-size numeric keypad, which minimizes dust accumulation and enables faster numeric input via larger key-caps.

The Turbo33 Technology boosts overall performance by 33 percent, amalgamating both hardware and software solutions to deliver smoother graphics and online streaming.

The UL Series is also designed to provide users with unlimited entertainment after hours. The notebooks feature a high-definition LCD screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio as well as graphics powered by a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce G 210M graphics card with 512MB VRAM.
