CINCINNATI — Convergys Corp., a global leader in relationship management, has announced that Advanced Info Service Plc (AIS), the largest wireless operator in Thailand, has successfully deployed the Infinys Rating and Billing 3.0, designed specifically for service providers as part of Convergys’ BSS/OSS solution portfolio, to support future subscriber growth plans.
A long-standing Convergys client, AIS chose to deploy Convergys’ Infinys 3.0 to support the launch of on-demand 3G services and upgraded network capacity for its customers.
AIS is also taking advantage of new product functionality available in Infinys 3.0, including Costed Event Partitioning (CEP) and Distributed Revenue Processing (DRP), to improve performance and enhance operational processes throughout its business.
Convergys completed the upgrade on time and on budget, successfully migrating over seven million accounts on to the Infinys Rating and Billing 3.0 in the process.
