Make video wedding invites and post them on the Net

Soon-to-weds can now make their free video wedding invitations and invite their friends and family to view them on HotOccasions.com.

All they have to do is go to “A Day For A Lifetime” (ADFAL), a special event that gathers the country’s top wedding planners, designers and suppliers to help couples organize the most exciting occasion of their lives.

ADFAL will be held at the Blue Leaf, McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City on Oct. 4-5, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Couples can register online (www.adayforalifetime.com) to get free entrance to ADFAL and proceed to the registration booth during the event.

They will be asked to fill out the wedding video invitation stub and present it to the registration staff. They will then be escorted to the shooting room, where they can choose the background they want. There is also a ready-made script which they can modify, or they can opt to make their own. The background can be a beach, the clouds or a setting in Paris, among others.

“But please don’t wear anything green,” said Marylene Uyboco of HotOccasions.com, the event organizer, pertaining to the use of greenscreen technology that allows any background. Wearing green will negate this technology.

“After the shoot, they just wait for an e-mail from HotOccasions.com, which contains the link of the video that they can share to friends,” Uyboco added.

The video invitation is just one of the many attractions at ADFAL.

“Couples can also get creative ideas when they see wedding themes styled like Hollywood movies, or talk to experts on how to fashion their dream weddings,” Uyboco said.

“ADFAL will feature seven different realms, each presenting a unique scenario to make your wedding a truly unforgettable event,” Uyboco added.
