Photos taken with Sony D-SLR a100 on exhibit

The increasing demand of the digital world of photography has spurred electronics giant Sony to meet the expectations of professionals, high-level amateurs and consumers via its latest digital camera – the D-SLR a100.

Powered by the company’s breakthrough Bionz image processing engine and the 10.2-megapixel, high-resolution CCD, photographers can now achieve sharp, vivid and noise-free images using a compact, light-weight camera.

The a100’s built-in Super SteadyShot anti-shake function prevents blurry pictures by countering both low and high frequency hand and body movements while shooting.

Memoirs of Alpha, a collection of photographs of Tokyo taken with the Sony a100 by five of the Philippines’ top photographers – Sara Black, Jo Ann Bitagcol, Jake Versoza, Mark Nicdao, and Jun de Leon – is on exhibit at the Gateway Mall, Cubao until Sept. 7.
