Mozcom has announced the availability of two new standalone IP camera models the NVL-200 and NVL-300.
Both models are under the NetVideo Lite family of full-featured Internet video peripherals.
The NVL-200 offers 1.3-megapixel resolution using a 1/2" SXGA color CMOS sensor.
It weighs a mere 350 grams and connects directly to an RJ45 Ethernet cable. It is capable of recording to a remote Windows or Unix/Linux file share without the need to run extra drivers or a PC-based client application. The video is streamed directly onto storage.
The NVL-300 is a more powerful model, offering hardware-based MPEG4 compression. It can run at full 30 fps at Full-D1 (720x480 in NTSC) settings, and the bit rate can be controlled from 64kbps to 2mbps.
Both models can be configured for events like motion detection, network failure detection, and alarms, and can be programmed to generate responses such as sending an e-mail or activating an alarm.

DBP Data Center Inc. (DCI), a provider of e-solutions and processes for IT systems, is conducting a five-day Web training for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
The course includes basic training on HTML, use of the Content Management System (CMS), and manipulation of images for the Web. There will also be a brief introduction to Flash files.
The first round of classes is currently ongoing, and the second round starts today and ends on Feb. 3.
To further encourage SMEs to build their businesses via the Internet, DCI will be hosting the trainees websites for one year.
The SMEs portal will be operational 24/7 with basically no downtime for all its contents and services.
The portal will allow local businesses to use a variety of online tools to provide their clients with timely information and service.
"This offering is part of our long-term vision of empowering small and medium businesses to expand their reach and become globally competitive. This will ultimately help improve our economy and eradicate pov-erty," said Andrew Guitarte, executive vice president and COO of DCI.
The project is spearheaded by the Export Development Council and the Philippine Trade Training Center, and is funded by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
"This project aims to inject creativity into the SME market and give local businesses a start on the Web. We look forward to the input of our trainees," Guitarte said.
The new Riso HC5000 is a revolutionary product in digital printing provided by Riso Kagaku Corp., the inventor of the digital duplicating technology.
Distributed by Copylandia Office Systems Corp., the Riso HC5000 can print as many as 105 A4 color prints per minute.
The HC5000 sets a new benchmark in cost-effective color printing with ComColor. With this system, the cost of printing full-color documents is just as much as producing monochrome copies.
The Riso HC5000 has features that suit short to medium-run color printing, and is ideal for print shops, commercial printers, publishing firms, and companies with a multitude of requirements for full-color prints because of its speed and printing capacity. It has a monthly capacity of 250,000 full-color prints.
Its optional high-resolution scanner can recognize large canvasses of up to A3-size paper, thus it is capable of producing high-definition, full-color brochures, pamphlets, maps, books and photos.
Equipped with a 40-GB hard drive memory and superb network connectivity, the HC5000 is able to process multiple data output faster.
An optional online finishing capability enables the user to do saddle stitching, stapling and folding with just one flick in the control panel.
