Canon PIXMA printers set new standards

-
Photographic and imaging giant Canon recently added five new single function models to its PIXMA photo printer line, raising the bar in the printer industry.

The new models feature high resolutions, smallest picoliter ink droplets, most number of nozzles in the print head, large LCD screens, advanced media handling features, and sleek new compact designs.

"Our new PIXMA photo printers give consumers with varying printing needs more choices, more features and a better value," said Melvyn Ho, vice president of Canon Singapore Pte Ltd.

"From budget printers that offer great functionality at an unbeatable price to more advanced features, including wireless connectivity, and advanced media handling capabilities, consumers will be spoiled for choice," Ho added.

The new Canon PIXMA printers include the photo-printing powerhouse, the Canon PIXMA iP6600D, which offers great quality and high-end convenience, utilizing a 3.5" color LCD viewer for easy photo direct printing.

The new products also include printers that offer advanced features suited for discriminating users. They are the Canon PIXMA iP4200, which produces long-lasting, vivid pictures using individual ink tanks; the Canon PIXMA iP5200, which affords premium photo printing with high-speed performance. For home users and students who want the convenience of photo quality printing at an exceptional value, there are the Canon PIXMA iP1600 and iP2200.
