Epson Philippines Corp. recently launched the Epson Stylus R1800 printer which combines vivid color production with a high-gloss finish for superior quality photo prints.
Best for photographers, designers and professionals in the arts and creative industries who require rich, high-gloss color print of excellent quality and permanence, the Epson Stylus R1800 can also churn out high-quality prints of up to A3+ size.
Also perfect for amateur and professional photographers, the new Epson printers UltraChrome Hi-Gloss ink ensures that every printout is more vibrant than before, with colors that last for over 175 years.
The Epson Stylus R1800 comes with a Micro Piezo print head specially designed to control the size of ink droplets based on the type of image and media used.
Its Variable Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT) improves not only the evenness of the ink relative to the surface of the print, but also reduces ink consumption by reducing overlapping dots.
At an optimized resolution of 5,760 dots per inch (dpi), the new Epson Stylus R1800 is also capable of producing razor-sharp prints for superb detail display.
The UltraChrome Hi-Gloss ink set of the Stylus Photo R1800 also includes an additional gloss optimizer cartridge that produces a smooth, clear glossy finish over highlights which would normally contain no ink layer. The result is a glossy print that exhibits a smooth sheen edge to edge, with no reflective loss even on highlight details.
The R1800 also allows for flexible paper handling to accommodate a wide range of printing media, including an option to print directly onto CDs and DVDs.
The Epson R1800 is now being offered at a suggested retail price of P 39,995.
