AMA, ABE offer call center training programs

-
The demand for call center agents is increasing as the Philippines positions itself as the hub of the global call center industry.

Fresh graduates and cur-rent employees are shifting to this industry because of the high compensation it offers. However, only a few are chosen due to lack of verbal skills and inadequate mastery of the English language.

The AMA Education System (AMAES), the pio-neer in IT-based education, once again breaks new ground in providing the technical expertise needed to become a much sought-after call center agent through its training courses on American Accent and Customer Service.

Backed up by AMA’s vaunted computer-based infrastructure, the courses will give potential call center agents the right skills and confidence, improve their basic English grammar with the American sound and rhythm, help them speak the American English confident-ly, and acquire conversational skills with the American accent.

The students will also learn about different aspects of American life and culture.

The TESDA-accredited courses will be offered initially by the AMA Compu-ter University and the ABE International Business Col-lege, the pioneer in e-Business education in the country.

The training will start on July 26 at the AMA Computer University.
