The De La Salle-Taft team won the third annual SGETECH Cup, an inter-school software design competition, which culminated in ceremonies keynoted by Under-secretary for Information and Communication Technology Emmanuel Lallana, who rep-resented President Arroyo.

Aside from the cash prize, De La Salle-Taft will take hold of the five-foot-tall SGETECH Cup made of 24K gold, silver and brass for one year, as a symbol of its victory, until next year’s competition when it defends the title. Whoever emerges the champion next year will get hold of the SGETECH Cup.
