Autodesk unveils new design software

Autodesk Inc. has introduced to the Philippine market its 2006 line of design software that helps customers create, manage and share design data more efficiently in order to compete and win in the global marketplace.
These products provide best-in-class solutions for 2D designs, basic conceptual design to advanced 3D modeling, animation, visualization, data management and collaboration.
The launch took place during the Autodesk Solution Day, the companys annual industry platform now on its second year in the Philippines.
The keynote speaker was Damian Domingo Mapa, CICT Commissioner, who heads the Strategic Business Development Group.
In a press briefing, André Pravaz, Autodesk vice president for the South Asia-Pacific region, said the new Autodesk 2006 portfolio of design software will empower Filipino customers in the manufacturing, building, infrastructure, media and entertainment industries to turn their ideas into reality faster than ever before.
Pravaz is responsible for business development, sales, marketing, finance and channel operations in Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
"We have the products and experience to help Filipino businesses be more competitive at home and in the global market. With across-the-board focus on productivity improvements, our customers can realize new efficiencies quickly and enjoy a fast return on investment," he said.
Pravaz also announced that Autodesk has set up a Philippine representative office to better support and service Philippine customers. The office is located at the Enterprise Center along Ayala Avenue in Makati City.
