Level Up! resolves network issue

In a joint statement, Level Up!, Cisco and the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. said the service interruption of Philippine Ragnarok Online between March 29 and April 5, was identified as an isolated problem within a section of the PLDT network.
PLDT confirmed that a Cisco router module had an adverse effect on user connections to Level Up! servers, but not necessarily to the overall PLDT network.
Contrary to some reports, this did not affect the entire PLDT network and people were still able to access the Internet. This problem was reported to Cisco, which has been working with PLDT to resolve this issue.
Coinciding with a press report about a possible global attack, the issue with the Cisco router was identified during the troubleshooting by both PLDT and Cisco during the same week.
Although this was considered as a possible source of the router problem, Cisco, after an extensive evaluation, confirmed that this was not the reason, as previously reported.
Level Up! said it will continue to work in resolving any lingering connectivity issues which its customers may experience.
