Microsoft Phils. recently launched its redesigned corporate website which offers users an intuitive experience, giving them instant access to the latest news, promotions and product information from the software company.
Found at http://www.microsoft.com/philippines, the website was redesigned and developed by Softrigger Interactive, a new media and Internet design and development company specializing in corporate and entertainment websites.
Carlos Cardenas Sevilla, Softrigger’s VP for marketing and sales, explained, "We wanted to give Microsoft users a unique and intuitive online experience and means to access the latest information on products and promotions."
The Microsoft Phils.’ website will also have a WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) variant, allowing cellular phone users quick access to information via their handsets.
Mark Yambot, Customer Relationship Group manager of Microsoft Phils., said," We’ve been working with Softrigger for less than four months and with every project, they just get better. They’ve made the local Microsoft website easier to navigate. You’re no more than three clicks away from the information you need. They also set up our WAP site (http://www.microsoft.com/philippines/wap/index.wml)."
"Softrigger has been providing a combination of fast turnaround time, Web development savvy and good client service. It has a dedicated staff collaborating closely with us and together, we are constantly developing better ways to interact with our customers online," Yambot said.
Softrigger Interactive employs user-targeted design and development methods and high-value Web design and animation technology.
One of the innovative features users will find in Microsoft Phils.’ website is a dynamic menu system which pushes important information on the subsections to the homepage, giving them a preview of what is in store. Also launched were some new sections outlining Microsoft Phils.’ client solutions and developer communities.
