Fish oil a good source of essential nutrients

MANILA, Philippines – Getting into a healthier diet is key in keeping heart diseases at bay. And if one is looking for a heart health booster, he just needs to rediscover the abundant health benefits of fish.

Fish oil, in particular, has been found to be a good source of essential nutrients that keep the heart healthy.

The natural oils found in fish contains Omega-3 Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA)/Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA), which is naturally needed by one’s body to absorb essential nutrients and expel unnecessary waste products, and most importantly helps the heart work properly for better blood circulation and lower cholesterol.

Fish oil is oil derived from the tissues of oily fish. Fish do not actually produce DHA/EPA fatty acids, but instead accumulate them from consuming micro-algae that produce these fatty acids.

Not all fish though have enough DHA/EPA in them to boost heart health. Studies show that DHA/EPA-rich fatty fish are those that include deep-sea fish like mackerel, sardine, salmon, tuna and herring. Fish that are caught from shallow waters like rivers or lakes aren’t fatty fish that contain a lot of DHA/EPA.

The DHA/EPA in Australian brand Cenovis Fish Oil works on the cell level and enhances cell-to-cell communication, which carries out every important function of every organ in the body. This is significantly important in controlling cholesterol levels and promoting better blood circulation for better heart health.

Cenovis Fish Oil is an all-natural fish supplement that is odorless and has no fishy after-taste, which is important among consumers, as it was extracted from Peruvian waters, one of the cleanest seas in the world.

The product also undergoes an eco-friendly production. After small fish are harvested, they go to Norway, which is known to be the best technologically in terms of extraction of fish oils. After the extraction process, the fish oil goes directly to the Philippines for repackaging.
