World’s hurdles champ is new Nutrilite spokesman

Champions beget a winning brand.

Liu Xiang, 110-meter hurdles world record holder of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), has been named the global spokesman for Nutrilite, the world’s leading brand of vitamin, mineral, and dietary supplements.

With his appointment, Liu joins 100-meter sprint world record holder Asafa Powell as the high-profile athletes to represent Nutrilite.

“The cooperation between Nutrilite and Liu Xiang is a world-class partnership. There are a lot of similarities between Nutrilite and Liu Xiang. Liu Xiang continues to excel and so does Nutrilite,” says Amway China senior vice president Gan Chee Eng.

For his part, Liu says, “I’m very excited to be a global brand spokesman for Amway Nutrilite and I will definitely deliver the Nutrilite philosophy to every corner of the world.”

As a leader in research and development on health and nutrition, Nutrilite has fielded scientists who will work closely with the Chinese Track and Field Association to provide Liu with excellent and thorough consulting services.

A humble, hardworking, and humorous 23-year-old athlete from China, Liu has written a brand new page in the track and field history books.

Before him, no Chinese or Asian athlete had won the 110-meter hurdles or achieved this level of success in short-distance running at the world level.

Nutrilite products are exclusively distributed by independent business owners of Amway, a global leader in the direct-selling business.
