Futura Homes taps disaster-proof technology

MANILA, Philippines - The spate of natural disasters had prompted Filinvest Land Inc. to adopt a home-building technology that could withstand typhoons and even promotes energy efficiency in every home.

Filinvest introduced a new innovation for the structure used for its affordable brand—the Futura Homes—by using the Buhos Tibay cast-in-place technology, which makes the house walls stronger and resistant to typhoons and termites.
