2 new classrooms help improve classes' condition at Cavite school

TANZA, Cavite – Students of the Flaviana F. Arayata Memorial Elementary School are now enjoying the benefits of the two new classrooms built by the Property Company of Friends, Inc. (PRO-FRIENDS), developer of Lancaster New City in Cavite and Parc Regency Residences in Iloilo.

PRO-FRIENDS turned over the newly built classrooms to the school's administration last Nov. 29, 2013.

Parents and students together, with the school officials and some representatives from PRO-FRIENDS, gathered in a short ceremony formalizing the turnover of the two classrooms which will be used by the higher grade levels.

“The additional classrooms have improved the classes’ condition. The rooms now need not be overcrowded with big number of students and they became more conducive to learning,” said school Principal Martin Figueroa, who had the two classrooms prepared already for students use even prior to the formal turn-over.

PRO-FRIENDS’ AVP for Marketing, Mr. Dave Amor, reiterated the company’s advocacy of continued support to education. In his remarks, Amor addressed the students to make good use of the school facilities in order for them to gain good education.  He also appealed to the parents and thanked the teachers in their unwavering efforts in giving these students the gift of education. The donated classrooms are one of PRO-FRIENDS’ promise to the school as it helped them in this year’s BRIGADA ESKWELA, a project of the Department of Education. Aside from the classrooms, PRO-FRIENDS representatives donated a computer set, sewing machine and books for additional aid in educating the young children. PRO-FRIENDS employees also took part in the preparation of the school for this current school year’s opening, by painting and varnishing chairs and cabinets, covering the books in the library and cleaning its surroundings.
