Century Properties starts turnover in Knightsbridge Residences

MANILA, Philippines - Century Properties has started turning over units in Knightsbridge Residences, its British-inspired residential high rise in Century City, Kalayaan Avenue, Makati.

“As Knightsbridge is completed, its homeowners will see and feel the enormous amount of dedication we have poured into bringing a lifestyle experience that is inspired by the renowned London neighborhood that it is named after,” the company said in a statement.

Such experience is apparent throughout the structure, beginning with the residential units. Known as “pods,” the units have been configured to maximize space and at the same time imbibe the Cool Britannia lifestyle.  During the project’s pre-selling phase, buyers were also offered combinable units, which gave them the option to further expand their chosen living spaces.

The Knightsbridge is infused with high design features, themed interior finishes and signature Hypersized Amenities, which are convergence and amenity areas that serve as extensions of the residential units.

The 64-story building’s spacious lobby, called the Living Room, has a soaring two-story-high cathedral ceiling from which exquisite chandeliers hang. A wall filled with vertical green walls and rosewood planks complement its Travertine stone-clad flooring, and a Union Jack-themed sitting area beckons at each arriving homeowner.

Residents can also expect to find an above industry-standard line up of amenities, several of which have recently opened for the exclusive use of unit owners and their guests.

For entertainment and recreation, Knightsbridge has both the traditional and modern options: a gaming area with billiard, football and poker tables, a cozy private movie theater and the arcade room that houses five video game consoles and widescreen TV sets.

Knightsbridge also has a library that has a comfortable reading corner. The area doubles as a business center complete with a computer, printer, scanner and fax machine.

An observatory space on the topmost floor offers a 360-degree view of bustling Makati City, complete with provisions for dining and entertaining guests.

Another design innovation is the Knightsbridge Lantern floors.  Here, eight levels of units with floor-to-ceiling windows transform into sparkling lantern-type glass boxes that become visible from distant areas at night.

Knightsbridge is located within Century City’s 3.4-hectare masterplanned community. This location also affords residents the added convenience of being close to an IT-medical arts and outpatient center – Centuria Medical Makati which will open soon – and the Century City Mall, which recently held its soft opening. The mall will house over a hundred different boutiques, restaurants, clothing stores, a supermarket and a modern cinema.

Newly-launched developments will also rise at the Forbes Media Tower, which is the first Forbes-branded office building in the world, and Century Spire, a residential-office tower designed in collaboration with Armani/Casa and Studio Daniel Libeskind, are also rising at Century City.
