Diamond Hiland launches first project in Cebu

MANILA, Philippines — Diamond Hiland Inc. (DHI) has launched its first project with a premiere high-rise residential condominium encircled in abundant greeneries and scenic view of Cebu.

This project of two Cebuano families—the Lhuillier and Yeung, promises to allure tourists and Cebuanos alike in its first residential development that Cebuanos would call by its name.

It was Ambassador Philippe Lhuillier, chairman of P.J. Lhuillier, Inc. (PJLI), who envisioned about this project. PJLI is a parent company of the leading and largest non-bank financial services provider, Cebuana Lhuillier Pawnshop.

Sharing with him the passion for real estate business, Carlos Yeung, vice-chairman of MSY Holdings Corporation partnered with him for this joint venture. MSY is known for its flagship project Bayswater, residential properties in Mactan. The company recently ventured into a boutique destination health and wellness sanctuary, Kandaya resort in Daan Bantayan. It is also completing its flagship office tower in Cebu Business Park (CBP).

The collaboration with Crone Partners, an award-winning international architecture firm made the vision of DHI come to life, as it designs two residential towers in a cylindrical oval shape boasting a 360 degree unobstructed view of the surrounding Cebu landscape and coast. This structure gives the impression of shifting elliptical floor plates and ovals enabling a dramatic appearance of the beautiful skyline.

DHI General Manager Nestor Omar Arce-Ignacio shares that what makes the 560-unit development project unique is the inclusion of posh garden apartments with unique aesthetic and modern living features. It offers a niche retail component reflecting the modern lifestyle of its residents and investors.
