Prominent Cebu clans team up for upscale residential project

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Cebu-based Lhuillier and Yeung families have entered into a partnership to develop a high-end residential complex  in the Queen City of the South.

Their joint venture vehicle, Diamond Hiland Inc., a partnership between PJ Lhuillier Inc. (PJLI) and MSY Holdings Corp., will develop one of Cebu’s finest residential communities with its flagship project consisting of 556 units in an 8,472-square meter property in the prime location of Nivel Hills – offering seamless views of the mountains, Mactan channel, and the Cebu skyline just a few minutes away from the business centers and major malls.

The project started with the vision of Amb. Philippe Lhuillier, chairman of PJLI, the parent company of Cebuana Lhuillier Pawnshop, one of the leading and largest non-bank financial services providers in the Philippines, with over 1,500 branches nationwide.

Meanwhile, MSY Holdings, led by Chinese businessman Carlos Yeung, has been known for its flagship project Bayswater, which caters to the growing need for residential properties in the cosmopolitan island of Mactan. Recently, the company ventured into a boutique destination health and wellness sanctuary named Kandaya Resort in Daan Bantayan, north of Cebu.

Both leaders firmly believe in the growth potential and development of Cebu with this project that caters to the high-end market. They added that the quality they promise is also cost-efficient, with units that range from 60 to 400 square meters.
