Filinvest reinvents Futura Homes, sets massive nationwide expansion

Neil Jerome C. Morales - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The affordable housing brand of Filinvest Land Inc.(FLI) is on an expansion mode, tapping the massive housing backlog for durable homes in and around the metropolis.

Futura Homes and its unit Spatial will launch several new medium-rise, condominium and house-and-lot projects nationwide catering to end-users, officials said.

“From the well-received communities in Cavite, Batangas, and San Pedro, Laguna, Futura Homes is set to conquer Pasig, Valenzuela, Palawan, and Davao,” FLI said.

“The Futura Homes brand existed years ago but it is high time to re-introduce the brand given new and better house models,” said Reynaldo Ascaño, FLI first vice-president.

“Putting a premium on quality housing, FLI highlights the Buhos-Tibay seal, a mark of quality and distinction unique to Futura Homes,” he said.

Houses with the Buhos-Tibay seal make use of reinforced concrete to create homes that make the units durable, fire-resistant, pest-free and low maintenance.

“This feature can help families cut down on upkeep and repair costs and enable them to grow their savings for a brighter future,” Ascano said.

To date, there are 20 ongoing budget-friendly Futura Homes projects nationwide composed of more than 60,000 units, allowing start-up families to secure a stable foundation.

“These homes represent a homebuyer’s first step towards the fulfillment of his dreams and aspirations,” he said.

Most of Futura Homes’ buyers are rank-and-file employees that can afford the monthly amortization of P4,500 per unit, Ascaño said.

Futura Homes sells units starting at P600,000 for 27-square-meter units up to P2 million for two-story homes.

To cater to the backlog of three million housing units, Futura Homes is venturing close to the Metro.

“The company’s innovative Spatial series marks the entry of Futura Homes in urban Metro Manila,” the property firm said.

Through mid-rise building communities set within city environs, the Spatial series makes the coveted condominium lifestyle easier on the budget, offering two-bedroom units with more space at no extra cost, Futura Homes said.

“This practical price tag comes with all the exclusive perks and conveniences of living in a condo community—indoor and outdoor amenities, property maintenance, round-the-clock security, and accessibility to everyday destinations,” it added.

For instance, it already has a project in Pasig, the One Spatial that is composed of seven mid-rise buildings set within a 1.7-hectare property along Amang Rodriguez St. in Brgy. Dela Paz.

FLI said it will also bring the budget-friendly brand to Davao through 8 Spatial in the progressive Maa district.

Futura Homes will also strengthen its value homes portfolio in Puerto Princesa in Palawan through a secure and gated neighborhood.

“This territorial expansion coincides with the introduction of seven new house models, each with different themes, offering a wider selection for buyers,” FLI said.

New options include single-attached (Bernice, Caroline, and Walnut) and single-detached (Molave) units, as well as townhouses (Amber, Danessa, and Opal).

Growing families may also choose house models that are ready for expansion (Bernice and Caroline), which have spaces at the back to accommodate an extra room.
