BCI Asia names Filinvest one of the Philippines' top developers

MANILA, Philippines - Filinvest Land, Inc. recently bagged one of the coveted spots in BCI Asia’s Top 10 awards, an annual honor given in recognition of Southeast Asian developers and architectural firms whose work had created significant impact in the industry. Filinvest was named among the Philippines ’ Top 10 developers, in view of its leadership in the industry.

The honor has certainly underscored Filinvest’s exemplary standing in the local real estate development community. “We are grateful to BCI Asia for recognizing our contribution to the real estate industry. This recognition brings out a sense of pride because it is another tangible, significant proof of our performance as a company,” said Filinvest president and CEO Joseph M. Yap. “This indicates that we are on the right track in terms of delivering competitive, quality and affordable products backed by excellent service to our customers.”

Building the Filipino dream for almost 50 years, Filinvest has over 2,100 hectares of developed land and over 600,000 square meters of prime office, residential and retail spaces all over the country. By end of 2010, Filinvest had 86 ongoing projects nationwide, ranging from prime residential communities, mid-rise buildings, socialized housing projects, and mixed-use developments.

One of Filinvest’s landmark projects is Citta di Mare, a 50.6 hectare premier mixed-use development project in Cebu. This master-planned community, undertaken as a joint venture with the Cebu City government, will be composed of a waterfront lifestyle strip called Il Corso and four resort-themed residential clusters. The Amalfi Oasis and San Remo Oasis, the first residential projects in Citta di Mare, were launched in July 2010 and continue to enjoy brisk sales.

Adding to the growing portfolio is the Oasis-themed developments across the metro. These mid-rise buildings known for its open spaces and lush landscapes are replete with exciting amenities and facilities. These include the Asiana Oasis in Parañaque, Balinese-inspired Bali Oasis along Marcos Highway, the Italian-inspired Sorrento and Capri Oasis in Pasig, One Oasis in Ortigas, and the Pacific island-themed Maui Oasis in Sta. Mesa, Manila. 

Other notable projects in the Metro Manila area include Timberland Heights and Havila in the east, and Brentville International Community and Ciudad de Calamba in the south.
