Manhattan Garden City makes Araneta Center a residential haven

-

MANILA, Philippines - The Araneta Center, the metro’s shopping capital, is now a residential haven as well with the start of the turnover process of Manhattan Garden City’s first phase.

Megaworld Corporation, the country’s #1 residential condominium developer and the Araneta Group’s joint venture partner, has started turning over units to the three towers of Manhattan Parkway Residence. The Art Deco styling of the towers plus the availability of shops and restaurants at the ground level arcade of Manhattan Garden City give the development a distinct New York City vibe.

“Five years since the Araneta Group picked Megaworld to be their joint venture partner for this landmark residential project, the redevelopment of the Araneta Center has been recorded at a rapid pace. The second phase of Manhattan Garden City is now rising fast, while the third phase, Manhattan Heights, is selling briskly,” Megaworld Central Properties Inc. president Anthony Charlemagne Yu declared.

He added, “We congratulate Manhattan Garden City’s first homeowners on this momentous occasion. Christmas is the best time to experience all the shopping and entertainment offerings of Araneta Center. They will not experience traffic while going to their shopping destination. There will be no problems searching for parking space. No rush to get tickets to the PBA game or the Disney ice show. No worries either on going home late, since they can just take a brief walk to Manhattan Parkway Residence.”

Megaworld is now turning over studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units, most with balconies, in the first three towers. Among the amenities that residents will now enjoy are the fully equipped gym, jogging trail, day care center and business center. More amenities are in store at the project’s second phase, including a lap pool and kiddie pool.

A salon is now operating at the ground floor, with more tenants lined up on the way so that residents will enjoy New York-style shopping and dining. Everything will just be an elevator ride away.

Manhattan Garden City is the metro’s first transit-oriented development that is linked to two mass transit systems. Residents can easily reach Divisoria and the University Belt vicinity via the LRT2, while the Ortigas and Makati central business districts can be accessed via the MRT station across Farmers Plaza.

All phases will be linked via a 729-meter elevated garden walkway. The third phase, Manhattan Heights, will rise across the new Ali Mall.
